Ceramics: Whiskey Copitas at APT F

Curious about the wild world of ceramics and whiskey? Join us at APT F for a playful, fun evening of sips and making in their gorgeous retail space! In this beginner-friendly workshop, we will quickly learn the basics of ceramic-making (clay types, glazing, firing, and best practices), and then we will start with the no-experience-needed pinch pot technique!

After getting comfortable with the clay, we will move on to making a set (4) of whiskey-tasting copita cups, and then wrap up class by decorating and glazing our pieces. Throughout class, we will be sipping on specialty whiskey cocktails in partnership with Texas-made Nine Banded Whiskey!

To complete your pieces, Kara will fire them (essentially baking them, so they retain their shape and become durable & food-safe) and return them to for pick-up at APT F two weeks from the class date - just in time for the holidays!

Cost includes: all materials, instruction, glazing, firing and whiskey tasting! Tickets available HERE!
